WWE Raw Rating Holds at Low Level

September 20, 2016 | Posted by Jeremy Thomas

– Raw held steady this week, although considering last week’s fall that’s not exactly the best news it could have had. Last night’s episode scored a 0.91 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 2.684 million viewers. The rating was identical with last week’s, while the viewership was down less than a quarter of a percent from last week’s 2.690. It still represents a new modern low for the show, however.

The good news is that the hold comes as the fall season officially began on the broadcast networks, meaning that the show was up against heavyweight in The Voice and The Big Bang Theory as well as competition for the male demographic in Gotham and Lucifer on FOX, along with the second week of Monday Night Football. Raw ranked #4 for the night among cable originals behind the NFL game (4.54 demo rating, 12.137 million viewers), SportsCenter (1.32/2.884 million) and Love & Hip-Hop on VH1 (1.12/2.148 million). The hourly numbers were:

8 PM: 0.93 demo rating (2.734 million viewers)
9 PM: 0.90 demo rating (2.686 million viewers)
10 PM: 0.91 demo rating (2.633 million viewers)
